Running for Congress

Well, after years of studying the issues and increasing concern that we’re not actually doing anything about them, I’m finally going to try and do something about them. It’s one thing to be a social commentator, it’s another to be a force for social change.

I’ve met a bunch of great folks over the past five months I’ve been blogging, and even more over seven months of involvement in grassroots political organizing. It’s empowering to know that I’m not alone in my concern for the country. From discussions within our Meetup to local GOP organizations, I’m increasingly optimistic that we can start putting labels aside and engage in meaningful discussions as concerned Americans.

I’ve moved most of my issue and campaign-related posts to my campaign blog, and will be spending most of my time over there. Please help us restore a Constitutional federal government. Visit lawsonforcongress.com to learn more, and get involved!
